fashshowthoughts

Hiyah. How’s you? Good, I hope. Welcome back to another scurrilous missive from the sbh.

As ever I’m sorta behind but possibly ahead, as this week I wanted to talk about the fash shows, been watching Milan men’s and then Paris over the last few weeks and I can say bloody hell I do love fashion, both the ready to wears and the haute couture have been fantastic, some really great ideas on show and some lovely vibes coming off them, just a really nice warm feeling coming from them.

But as ever there is always another side to this, so on the flip side, there’s been a Whole host of outrage both real and faux as well as the usual sniggering snidey snides with their opinions (can you tell I actually really Hate ‘those’ type of people) that look to deride it, stomp on it or just downright try to takeaway anything fun others have. Why is it they are usually wearing nukes and some tired cliched ready worn shite? With that basis I’m not sure what qualifies them to say anything fashion related. I feel that these critiques really stifle any sort of advancement of society. They do hate that when you tell them an opposing viewpoint too, are we seeing links here???

And yes, on the other side of that I absolutely realise the need for change in fashion/I realise that it absolutely needs to do something about its carbon footprint and its environmental cost to the planet, but I do think like most of the stuff shown has an art, isn’t fast fashion and that has its value, l feels its stock rises in times like this, I think we need it. Let’s tackle cheap package holidays first then we can talk about how we can calm the fashion industry down.

Now I really want to get to a fashion week now, how does one go about getting an invite? I can dress well, sometimes look cool and can fake it so long as I don’t open my gob, which I promise to do so any takers?

Hot on the heels of hot as hell Moses last week this week’s social media sbh is from the very same fash shows, this from HA@JPG we have Saskia de Brauw, amazing walk and amazing look, check it out here.
