what to say

Hello again / here we are then / what to say?

What an absolute horrible space the world is in now, and I don’t really know what to say.

I do know that I will say that I condemn all these acts of terrorism; the world needs a complete ceasefire and I add my name to the calling of a ceasefire in Gaza and Palestine.

I’m sorry that I haven’t posted in a while, I absolutely needed to take a step back and I’m doing a slow return as I don’t want to ever feel that again. These blogs are supposed to be fun, irrelevant and positive but when the world is on fire like this it’s difficult to engage and know what to do so it is completely fine not to.

It’s also an increasingly real balance in knowing what to do about it and what to say as the social media landscape is horrendous. The ‘whataboutery’ and the rampant absolute polarising effect of it has been terrible.

Socialmedia has taken it to another level completely, it has become such a horrendous space to navigate, I’ve seen so many thinly veiled threats bullying people if you don’t speak up for their cause or don’t do enough.

I am doing what I can, when I can and that is all one can do.

Will be back in the near future when it feels right to be so.
